Governor of the Indonesian Province of Aceh Mr Irwandi Yusuf called on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo this morning. Mr Irwandi is visiting Singapore to attend the East Asia Summit Conference on Liveable Cities. Mr Irwandi briefed Minister Yeo on developments in Aceh, and discussed ways to enhance practical cooperation between Singapore and Aceh, in particular in the area of capacity building for Aceh officials.
