Visiting Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Foreign Minister Paek Nam-sun met Minister George Yeo followed by lunch this afternoon. They had a good discussion on ways to expand bilateral interactions. Both Ministers also exchanged views on the various meetings at the ASEAN Regional Forum and the recent missile tests by North Korea. Minister Yeo urged the DPRK to return to the Six-Party talks soon and stressed the importance of a peaceful resolution of the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
