Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo met with New Zealand Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters in Manila at the sidelines of the 40th AMM/PMC/14th ARF.
Minister Yeo and Minister Peters reaffirmed the longstanding and close bilateral ties between Singapore and New Zealand. The Ministers had a good discussion on the evolving regional architecture and the East Asia Summit, including New Zealand's proposal on inter-civilisational dialogue. The Ministers also discussed recent developments in Timor Leste.
