Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo met with Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Taro Aso in Manila at the sidelines of the 40th AMM/PMC/14th ARF. The Ministers reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Japan, and agreed that both sides would work closely on areas of common interests, in particular climate change and energy issues.
