The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, has appointed Dr Kay Segler as Singapore's Honorary Consul in Munich, Germany.

Dr Segler, 51, graduated with a Master of Business Administration from University Mannheim. He joined BMW in 1988 and is currently the Vice President of Brand Management for BMW and MINI.

Dr Segler is married with two children.
