Singapore will host the 5th ASEAN Regional Forum Inter-Sessional Meeting on Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (ISM on CTTC) from 3-4 May 2007. The one and a half day event, to be co-chaired by Singapore, Japan and Russia, will bring together government officials of the 26 ARF members as well as selected regional and international organisations and institutions, to discuss means of combating global terror.

With the theme of inter-civilisational dialogue, the meeting will focus on how inter-civilisational and inter-faith dialogues can help bridge differences across various communities, and in doing so, contribute to the ongoing fight against terrorism. Senior Minister of State for Law and Home Affairs Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee will deliver a keynote address for the Opening Session on 3 May 2007.
