Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew will visit Brunei from 8-11 September 2004 at the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah to attend the wedding of the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah. PM Lee, SM Goh and MM Lee will be accompanied by their respective spouses. They will attend the Bersanding Ceremony on the morning of 9 September 2004. SM Goh and MM Lee will also attend the Royal Banquet in the evening of 10 September 2004.

During PM Lee's absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence Dr Tony Tan will be the Acting Prime Minister.
