The Government has appointed Professor Walter Woon, 47, as Ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, resident in Brussels. Professor Woon is concurrently Singapore's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, the European Commission and the Holy See. He will present his credentials to His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg on 9 October 2003.
