President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam and Mrs Mary Tan have accepted an invitation from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to make a State Visit to the United Kingdom from 21 to 23 October 2014.  This will be the first State Visit to the United Kingdom by a Singapore President.  

The State Visit comes ahead of the 50th anniversary of relations between Singapore and the United Kingdom in 2015, and marks the excellent and long-standing relations between both countries.
