Singapore’s Ambassador to the United States Mr Ashok Kumar Mirpuri wrote to the New York Times in response to the article “Dispute Over Singapore Founder’s House Becomes a National Crisis” published on 4 July 2017. The full text of the reply is below.  

(The New York Times omitted the following sentence from the first paragraph - “I am surprised that NYT did not seek any comments from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong or the Singapore government before writing the piece.”)
