Dear Minister Kasit,
Warmest congratulations on your appointment as Minister of Foreign
Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand !
Singapore and Thailand enjoy longstanding ties . We share many
common interests especially on regional integration . I look forward to
working closely with you to further strengthen bilateral relations and our
collaboration in ASEAN . Thailand will play a key role in the coming year
as ASEAN Chair. Singapore looks forward to the early convening of the
ASEAN Summit in Thailand next year.
