On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Singapore and all Singaporeans, I extend my deepest condolences to you and the people of Bangladesh for the tragic loss of lives arising from the Ashulia garment factory fire and the Chittagong flyover collapse.

I am confident that, under your leadership, Bangladesh will pull together and recover from this tragedy. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this time of national mourning.
