Dear President Lee,
I am deeply saddened to learn about the tragic sinking of the naval patrol ship "Cheonan" last Friday. I know your government is doing its utmost in the search and rescue operation, and I wish you the best in your efforts. On behalf of the Government of Singapore, I extend our deepest sympathies to the people of Korea, and our condolences to the families of the servicemen.
