Dear Prime Minister
I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of lives and extensive destruction in Samoa caused by the tsunami in the South Pacific. On behalf of the Government of Singapore, I would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the people of Samoa. Our thoughts are especially with those who have lost loved ones or have been affected by this calamity.
