The Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Cuba, His Excellency Miguel Angel Ramirez Ramos, called on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo on Wednesday, 15 March 2006. During the call, Mr Ramirez Ramos briefed Minister Yeo on the Non-Aligned Summit in Cuba scheduled for September 2006. They also exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including economic developments in Cuba and efforts at strengthening bilateral cooperation. Mr Ramirez Ramos is on an official visit to Singapore from 14 to 16 March 2006.
