On behalf of the people of Singapore, allow me to express my deepest condolences on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

His Highness Sheikh Nawaf was a distinguished leader, who devoted his life to the service of Kuwait. His contributions were instrumental in the development and prosperity of modern Kuwait. His Highness will be dearly missed, in Kuwait and among its partners internationally. 

My heartfelt thoughts are with Your Highness and the people of Kuwait during this difficult period of bereavement.
