Working Visit by President of The Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, 22 to 23 November 2024

President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev made a working visit to Singapore from 22 to 23 November 2024. President Radev called on President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and met with Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong on 22 November. Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan also called on President Radev.

  During the engagements, the leaders of both sides reaffirmed the friendly ties between Singapore and Bulgaria and the development experiences of both countries.

  President Tharman, Prime Minister Wong and Minister Balakrishnan exchanged views with President Radev on areas in which both countries could deepen cooperation, such as in building stronger business-to-business and people-to-people links. The leaders also discussed regional and international issues.
