AMBASSADOR TO SINGAPORE

KINGDOM OF SPAIN

            Ambassador Santiago Miralles Huete is a career diplomat.  Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore, Miralles was the Director General of Casa de América in Madrid, a Spanish public diplomacy institution aimed at strengthening the bonds between Spain and the Americas. Miralles previously served as the Ambassador to Mozambique as well as served in Spain’s diplomatic missions in Seoul, Hannover, The Hague, San Salvador and Tunis.

          Miralles graduated from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid with a degree in Law. He is married and has two sons. He speaks English, French, German and Portuguese.
