“Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan had a telephone call with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on 23 October 2018.

Minister Balakrishnan welcomed the upcoming visit by US Vice President Mike Pence to Singapore next month, which will be his first as Vice President, and his attendance at the 6th ASEAN-US Summit and 13th East Asia Summit.

Both sides also discussed areas of  bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on international and regional developments.”
