Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong called on His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden today. 

Prime Minister Wong and His Majesty reaffirmed the strongand growing cooperation between Singapore and Sweden both bilaterally and in multilateral fora. Following the meeting, Prime Minister Wong and His Majesty witnessed the exchange of five Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to enhance cooperation in the areas of Aviation, Defence Technology, Energy, Healthcare Innovation, and Transport. These MOUs underscore the wide-ranging cooperation between Singapore and Sweden and lay the groundwork for deeper collaboration in areas of mutual interest. The list of MOUs is at Annex.

His Majesty will depart Singapore later today.
