His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor, will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 10 to 12 July 2023 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. His Royal Highness will be accompanied by Her Highness Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Binti Bustamam, consort of the Tunku Mahkota Johor, as well as Johor palace and state officials.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee will host His Royal Highness and Her Highness to tea, and Minister Balakrishnan and Mrs Balakrishnan will welcome the royal couple with a dinner in their honour. His Royal Highness will also call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong.

His Royal Highness will be hosted by Senior Minister of State for Defence Zaqy Mohamad to a tour of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Commandos, and be hosted by Minister of State for Education Gan Siow Huang to a tour of Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School.  His Royal Highness will also join Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law Edwin Tong to witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Football Association of Singapore and the Johor Football Association on cooperation in football development, which includes the establishment of an annual football cup match between the Singapore Selection and Johor Selection teams from 2024 onwards.
