President Halimah Yacob will represent Singapore at the official mourning of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on 16 May 2022 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. President Halimah will be accompanied by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Education, Dr Mohamed Maliki Osman, and officials from President’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During President Halimah’s absence, Mr Eddie Teo, Chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisers, will exercise the function of the Office of the President.
