The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of the Portuguese Republic, has appointed Mr Pedro Pereira Gonçalves as Singapore’s Honorary Consul in Lisbon, Portugal, with jurisdiction throughout Portugal.
The Honorary Consul will support the work of Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Portugal, Mr Zainal Arif Mantaha. The appointment will further enhance Singapore’s ties with Portugal.
Mr Gonçalves, 47, is the Chief Executive Officer of Movendo Capital, B.V.. As Honorary Consul, Mr Gonçalves will perform representational duties as well as extend consular assistance to Singaporeans. In view of the prevailing COVID-19 restrictions in Portugal, visitors to the Honorary Consulate are reminded to abide by local public health regulations.
