         The Governing Mayor of Berlin of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Michael Müller, paid a courtesy call on President Halimah Yacob today. President Halimah and Mayor Müller reaffirmed the warm and friendly ties between Singapore and Berlin. They discussed the potential to strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, education and culture, and also exchanged views on regional and global developments.

         Mayor Müller is on a working visit from 13 to 16 October 2019. In addition to calling on President Halimah, Mayor Müller will meet Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing.
