The Right Honourable Winston Peters, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, will make an Official Visit to Singapore from 23 to 24 April 2018 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.During his visit, DPM Peters will call on DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam and will be hosted to separate lunches by Minister Balakrishnan and Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen.

This will be DPM Peters’ first Official Visit to Singapore. The visit is an opportunity for New Zealand and Singapore to exchange views on bilateral relations and international developments. New Zealand and Singapore enjoy close and longstanding bilateral ties with cooperation spanning the economic, defence and people-to-people areas.
