“Discussions between Singapore and Indonesia are continuing on both the Flight Information Region (FIR) and military training issues, on the basis of the framework for discussions announced at the joint press conference at the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat on 8 October 2019.

While no decision has been reached between Indonesia and Singapore as yet, and no deadline has been set for the conclusion of these discussions, Singapore is committed to working with Indonesia to resolve these two longstanding issues in an open and constructive manner.”
