          I was saddened to learn about the military plane crash that occurred near the Boufarik military airport on 11 April 2018.  On behalf of the people of Singapore, I offer our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.  Our thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones and the people of Algeria during this difficult time.
