President Halimah Yacob met Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) today. President Halimah was presiding over the SUSS convocation in her capacity as Patron. President Joko Widodo was attending his youngest son’s graduation from SUSS.

During the meeting, President Halimah and President Joko Widodo reaffirmed the long-standing and excellent relations between Singapore and Indonesia. President Halimah and President Joko Widodo also welcomed the efforts by both governments to strengthen ties across all sectors, including trade and investments, human resource development, tourism, education and culture. President Joko Widodo welcomed President Halimah’s visit to Indonesia next year.
