Your Excellency,
I was saddened to learn of the collapse of the Brumadinho dam in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais on 25 January 2019, which resulted in the tragic loss of lives.
On behalf of the people of Singapore, I extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the victims, and wish the injured a swift recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brazil during this difficult period.
