Visit of US Ambassador to ASEAN Yohannes Abraham to Singapore from 28 November to 1 December 2023

US Ambassador to ASEAN Yohannes Abraham will be visiting Singapore from 28 November to 1 December 2023 as part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Distinguished Visitors Programme (DVP). The DVP is the Ministry’s premier visit programme which has seen a number of outstanding foreign dignitaries visit Singapore for in-depth discussions with Singapore leaders, officials, and non-governmental institutions. The DVP has been instrumental in forging closer ties with the personalities as well as countries and institutions they represent.
Ambassador Abraham will call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, and meet several Singapore senior officials. He will also engage Singapore think-tanks and speak at roundtable seminars organised by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies and the US-ASEAN Business Council. The visit and discussions will help strengthen the US’ engagement of ASEAN as well as Singapore-US ties.
