President Halimah Yacob will visit London, United Kingdom (UK) from 4 to 7 May 2023 at the invitation of the UK government to attend the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. She will be accompanied by Mr Mohamed Abdullah Alhabshee and officials from the President’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While in London, President Halimah will have separate meetings with President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong and President of the Republic of Fiji Ratu Wiliame Katonivere. President Halimah will also attend a reception hosted for Overseas Singaporeans based in the UK.
During President Halimah’s absence, Mr Eddie Teo, Chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisers, will exercise the function of the Office of the President.
