Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will make an official visit to Brazil from 16 to 18 April 2023.

In Brasilia, Minister Balakrishnan will meet Vice-President and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services Geraldo Alckmin, President of the Chamber of Deputies Arthur Lira, Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad, and Minister of the Environment and Climate Change Marina Silva. Minister Balakrishnan and his counterpart Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Ambassador Mauro Vieira will co-chair the inaugural Singapore-Brazil Political Consultations. Minister Balakrishnan will deliver a lecture for diplomats-in-training at Rio Branco Institute, the Brazilian diplomatic academy.

Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.
