Call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong by Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr S Jaishankar, 19 November 2021

Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr S Jaishankar, called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana today. Minister Jaishankar is visiting Singapore from 16 to 20 November 2021 to attend the Bloomberg New Economy Forum.

During the call, both sides reaffirmed the excellent relationship between Singapore and India, which is underpinned by frequent high-level exchanges, and strong economic, defence and people-to-people ties. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation for post-COVID-19 recovery and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
