MFA Spokesperson’s Comments on the Bombing at Makassar Cathedral Church, 28 March 2021

Singapore condemns the bombing in front of the Makassar Cathedral Church in South Sulawesi, Indonesia on 28 March 2021. Nothing can justify such violence against innocent civilians and places of worship. We wish those who were injured a speedy and full recovery, and support the Indonesian government’s efforts to ensure public safety.

 

  There is no report of any Singaporean affected by the incident. Those in need of consular assistance should contact the Singapore Embassy in Jakarta at +62 811 863 348 or the MFA Duty Office at +65 6379 8800/8855. Singaporeans overseas are reminded to e-Register with MFA.
