Visit by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan to Jakarta, Indonesia from 25 to 26 March 2021

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will visit Jakarta, Indonesia from 25 to 26 March 2021. Minister Balakrishnan’s visit reaffirms the strong relations between Singapore and Indonesia, and aims to strengthen our close partnership to recover from the pandemic together.

During his visit, Minister Balakrishnan will meet his counterpart, Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, and have separate engagements with other members of the Indonesian government, including Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments Luhut Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno. Minister Balakrishnan will also meet Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and other prominent Indonesian personalities.

Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
