PERIASAMY KUMARAN

HIGH COMMISSIONER TO SINGAPORE

REPUBLIC OF INDIA

 

High Commissioner Periasamy Kumaran joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1992.  He served as Third Secretary in the Embassy of India, Cairo, from January 1994 to June 1997; Second Secretary/First Secretary in the Embassy of India, Tripoli, from July 1997 to December 2000; First Secretary in the Embassy of India, Brussels, from December 2000 to September 2003; and as Deputy Secretary (EWC/Europe-I) in the Ministry of External Affairs from September 2003 to March 2005.

From April 2005 to June 2007, High Commissioner Kumaran served as a Director on deputation to the Regional Passport Office in Bangalore. Thereafter, he served as Counsellor in the High Commission of India, Islamabad, from June 2007 to October 2009; Counsellor in the Embassy of India, Washington D.C., from October 2009 to August 2011; and as Deputy High Commissioner in the High Commission of India, Colombo, from September 2011 to June 2014. 

He was Joint Secretary of the Consular, Passport & Visa Division at the Ministry of External Affairs from July 2014 to September 2016.

From October 2016 to July 2020, he served as Ambassador of India in Doha.

High Commissioner Kumaran is married to Mrs Ritu Kumaran. They have two sons.

SANDRA JENSEN LANDI

AMBASSADOR TO SINGAPORE

KINGDOM OF DENMARK

 

Prior to her accreditation to Singapore, Ambassador Sandra Jensen Landi was Deputy Director of Humanitarian Affairs, Civil Society and Public Engagement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Ambassador Landi  has held numerous positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark including four years as Private Secretary to the Foreign Minister, as well as postings at the Danish embassies in Kathmandu, Kabul, Washington D.C. and as Deputy Head of Mission in Bangkok. Outside of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Ambassador Landi  has worked for the United Nations and the World Bank. She has two Master’s Degrees in Human Rights & Democratisation (2003) and Political Science (2004).

Ambassador Landi is married and has two daughters.
