Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat from 15 to 17 January 2020 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
This is the first in a series of meetings that Vietnam will be hosting as Chair of ASEAN in 2020, under the theme of building a “Cohesive and Responsive” ASEAN.
The Foreign Ministers will discuss ASEAN’s priorities for the year, take stock of ASEAN’s Community-building efforts and cooperation with ASEAN’s partners, and exchange views on regional and international issues.
Minister Balakrishnan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
