Novel Coronavirus in China

25 January 2020

The Singapore Embassy in Beijing and our Consulates General in China are closely monitoring the novel coronavirus situation in China. There are 35 Singaporeans currently in Wuhan city who have either e-registered or contacted us. They have reported that they are well. We wish to advise all Singaporeans who are currently in China to e-register with MFA so that we can provide timely information and render consular assistance if necessary.

Singaporeans  are advised to regularly check MOH’s website (www.moh.gov.sg) for the latest updates on our Public Health Travel Advisory on the novel coronavirus in China. Singaporeans are also advised to check the PRC National Health Commission (www.nhc.gov.cn) and the World Health Organisation (www.who.int) websites for updates on the coronavirus situation in China.

Singaporeans should avoid all travel to Hubei province.
