Minister of State (MOS), Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Manpower, Zaqy Mohamad will visit Bali from 5 to 6 December 2019. MOS Zaqy will be in Bali to represent Singapore at the 12th Bali Democracy Forum (BDF).
The BDF is an annual intergovernmental forum organised by Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It provides a platform for countries, students and other civil society representatives to share experiences and exchange views on ways to build a strong democratic architecture in the Asia-Pacific region. The theme for this year’s BDF is “Democracy and Inclusivity”.
MOS Zaqy will speak at a panel titled “Moving Towards Inclusive State Building” and call on Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Retno Marsudi. MOS Zaqy will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
