Visit by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 5 to 7 November 2019

Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman will visit Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the 19^th Council of Ministers Meeting of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) on 7 November 2019.

Singapore is a founding member of IORA, which was established in 1997 to promote regional economic cooperation in the Indian Ocean. The theme of the 19^th IORA Council of Ministers Meeting is “Promoting a Shared Destiny and Path to Prosperity in the Indian Ocean”.

During the visit, SMS Maliki will also meet with various UAE leaders, and Heads of Delegations of the IORA Member States and Dialogue Partners. SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
