Visit of Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong to Yokohama, Japan, 27 - 30 August 2019

Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong is visiting Yokohama, Japan, from 27 to 30 August 2019 to attend the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICADVII) at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

ESM will be speaking at Plenary Session 2, titled “Accelerating Economic Transformation and Improving Business Environment Through Innovation and Private Sector Engagement”. While in Japan, ESM will also meet Japanese and African leaders.

ESM will be accompanied by officials from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
