MFA Spokesperson's Comments in Response to Media Queries on the Postponement of the 14th Meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee for Iskandar Malaysia

In response to media queries on the postponement of the 14^th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee for Iskandar Malaysia (JMCIM) scheduled for 14 January 2019, the MFA Spokesperson said:

The intrusion by Johor Menteri Besar Dato’ Osman Sapian into Singapore Territorial Waters off Tuas on 9 January 2019 made the 14^thJMCIM meeting untenable. Singapore therefore proposed to postpone the JMCIM meeting, and Malaysia agreed.
