MFA Press Statement: Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman's Visit to Tokyo, Japan to Attend the OECD Southeast Asian Regional Programme Ministerial Conference, 7 - 8 March 2018

Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman will visit Tokyo, Japan from 7 – 8 March 2018 to attend the OECD Southeast Asian Regional Programme Ministerial Conference.

At the Ministerial Conference, SMS Maliki will speak on Singapore’s priorities as ASEAN Chair this year. He will also speak on Singapore’s and ASEAN’s efforts in fostering inclusiveness through enhancing connectivity and the participation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

While in Tokyo, SMS Maliki will meet Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs Kazuyuki Nakane, and other high-level participants of the Ministerial Conference.

SMS Maliki will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
