MFA Press Statement: Visit of National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr Ram Madhav, 16 to 18 November 2017

National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mr Ram Madhav will visit Singapore from 16 to 18 November 2017 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Distinguished Visitors Programme (DVP). The DVP, which was started in June 2005, invites outstanding foreign dignitaries to Singapore to help forge closer bilateral ties and foster mutual cooperation through the exchange of views with Singapore leaders and officials.

Mr Madhav will call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and be hosted to breakfast by Minister for Home Affairs and Law K Shanmugam. Mr Madhav will speak at a Roundtable session organised by the Institute of South Asian Studies.

Mr Madhav will also be visiting the Indian Heritage Centre, ITE College Central, the HDB Hub, the Singapore City Gallery and the PUB NEWater plant.
