The MFA Spokesman said:
“MFA was notified on 2 May 2017 that a Singapore-registered yacht with five Singaporeans on board was reported missing in Indonesian waters. MFA, together with the Singapore Consulate in Batam and other Singapore agencies, worked closely with the relevant Indonesian authorities to locate the yacht.
The yacht and all five Singaporeans on board were found safe on 4 May 2017 by the Indonesian Navy. We would like to thank the Indonesian Navy for its assistance.”
