MFA Spokesman’s Comments in response to media queries on the reported killing of Chinese and Norwegian hostages by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)

        In response to media queries on the reported killing of Chinese and Norwegian hostages by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the MFA Spokesman said:

        “Singapore condemns the killing of Chinese national Mr Fan Jinghui and Norwegian national Mr Ole Johan Grimsgaard-Ofstad by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).  We extend our deepest condolences to the families of Mr Fan and Mr Grimsgaard-Ofstad. The international community must come together to effectively combat the threat posed by ISIS and other terrorist groups.”
