Senior Minister of State for Defence and Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (SMS) Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman will attend the Commonwealth Foreign Minister’s Meeting (CFMM) in Malta from 25 to 26 November 2015. The CFMM precedes the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) to be held from 27 to 29 November 2015.
The Commonwealth Foreign Ministers will discuss issues of concern to member states, such as violent extremism and radicalisation and challenges facing small states, and review developments in the Commonwealth.
SMS Maliki will also have bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the CFMM.
SMS Maliki will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
