His Excellency General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, was scheduled to visit Singapore for his introductory visit and the Singapore-Thailand Leaders’ Retreat from 24-25 March 2015, at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. In view of the demise of Singapore’s founding Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew, both sides agreed to the postponement of the visit. Both sides will work on resuming the visit and the Retreat at a mutually convenient time.
