Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit the Independent State of Samoa from 1 to 5 September 2014 to attend the Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States. SMS Masagos will meet several leaders and senior government officials from fellow Small Island Developing States to discuss development issues and renew bilateral links. SMS Masagos will also deliver our National Statement at the Third International Conference.
In addition, SMS Masagos will speak about Singapore’s development experience at a joint side event entitled “Building Resilience in Small Island Developing States through Foresight”, co-hosted by the Kingdom of Tonga and the United Nations Development Programme.
