In response to media queries on the bomb blast at the Urumqi South Railway Station, China, the MFA Spokesman said:
“Singapore strongly condemns the bomb blast at the Urumqi South Railway Station on the evening of 30 April 2014. Such dastardly acts of violence against innocent members of the public cannot be justified under any circumstances. We express our deepest condolences to the victims and their families and wish the injured a quick recovery. We hope that the perpetrators will be apprehended and brought to justice.”
